ZARA's new 'IT' SKORT

Usually, when there is a new IT item each season, it is designed by some major brand and then all of the High street brands copy it in their own way. This time though, ZARA has come up with THE item that is sweeping the Fashion World by storm! Dubbed the SKORT, this Japanese- inspired origami culotte is a Skirt in the front but Shorts at the back. Since hitting the shelves two weeks ago, it has already been worn by celebrities, magazine editors and fashion bloggers all around the world.

So whats all the fuss about? Well, the SKORT is short enough for hot summer months, but long enough in the front to be comfortable to wear. It is super flattering on and can be worn with anything, anywhere.

How to wear the SKORT
I think that for your legs to look their longest, it's best to wear the skort with high heels and a shirt/tshirt/sweater not too long so as not to cover the triangle points at the front. Here are other ways that the skort has been worn recently:

Olivia Polermo teams her black Skort with a sweater, floral blazer and oversized bag

Karolina Kurkova wears her Blue Skort with a tucked in tshirt, a blazer and a shoulder bag

Blogger Lisa Wang wears her Ecru Skort with a tucked in shirt and a clutch

The Skort is currently available in all ZARA stores in Red, Black, Blue & Ecru (off white) and costs AED 175

How will YOU be wearing your SKORT this season??
