Collaboration Alert: Valentino & Havaianas

Every once in a while a collaboration comes along that makes me REALLY excited! For Cruise 2014, Valentino has collaborated with Havaianas to bring us super cool flip flops to adorn our feet all summer long. If you were ever worried about looking underdressed in your Havaianas, then these couture slippers are your answer! I personally adore both brands and wear them RELIGIOUSLY so this collaboration for me is like a dream come true :) 

There are two versions: plastic rockstud straps and camouflage coloured heels or plain with croco straps

 (The plain ones can be worn by men & women)

The Valentino Havaianas will be sold in Valentino boutiques and I found a few versions for sale on Net-a-Porter (Link here)  and on Mytheresa.com (Link Here).

Isabel Marant for H&M

As you have probably heard, this year's designer collaboration with H&M is Isabel Marant. I don't think I have seen or heard as much hype about a collab since Lanvin x H&M! Celebrities have already been snapped out and about wearing the items and every single Fashion Magazine has written about it! It consists of jackets, dresses, pants, tops, boots, shoes, and accessories for men, women AND children! Here are my favourite items from the women's collection.

Collaboration Alert: 3.1 Phillip Lim x Target

Today, September 15, is the MUCH anticipated launch of the 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target Collection. It consists of super cool clothes, sweaters, bags, and pyjamas for both men and women at low Target prices. You can find plenty of outfits very appropriate for the workplace with items like floral shirts, navy trousers, knee-length skirts, and big-enough day bags.

For the sneak peak Fashion Week Party in NYC this week, apparently everything FLEW off the shelves with fashionistas, editors, designers, and celebrities all clamouring to get a piece of this exclusive collection. The bags were especially a HIT and are expected to sell out immediately today. 

Unfortunately, we don't have a TARGET in the Middle East but you can buy the collection online. Long on NOW to get your hands on this FABULOUS collaboration, before the site crashes (like it did for the Missoni x Target event last year).

COLLABORATION ALERT: Milly and Banana Republic

There is something about summer that makes designers make the coolest collaborations. There are so many this summer that it's hard to keep up! This time its American brands Milly (Link here)  & Banana Republic (Link Here). They have joined forces to bring us a summery, prints-galore, easy to wear collection inspired by summertime in the Hamptons at the affordable prices that we expect of Banana Republic. There are really cute stuff for both men and women. The collection was launched in May 2013 and will be available throughout this summer.

Collaboration Alert: Alber Elbaz and Lancome

It is always fun for me when two of my most favourite obsessions collaborate - in this case it's high beauty and high fashion. One of the world's most influential designers, Alber Elbaz of Lanvin, has joined forces with mega-beauty house Lancome to create a limited edition makeup collection. It includes the exceptional colors and quality of makeup that we expect of Lancome, covered in  fun & ADORABLE drawings that we recognize to be the work of Mr. Alber. 

The collection consists of 9 makeup ranges which include 4 of Lancome's best selling mascaras (Hypnose Star, Hypnose Drama, Hypnose Doll Lashes, Definicils), 4 eyeshadow pallets and 1 set of false lashes. They are all so CUTE that I don't know which one I love most! 

This is the CUTEST packaging I have ever seen for false lashes! 

The collection will only be available in the U.S. and online on Lancome's website (Link Here) starting June 15. 

Hurry because I think these will sell out really fast!

My Collaboration with Shoes and Drama.com

I got offered an amazing opportunity last week- Major Saudi Arabian blog www.shoesandrama.com (link) asked me to collaborate with them and write a post for their blog. I wrote about Valentino's new Pop Pois collection. It's a limited edition collection of polka dot handbags, shoes, kaftans, and swimsuits especially made for Summer 2013. I haven't been able to find it in the stores in the U.A.E but you can buy the amazingly cute stuff from their website - www.Valentino.com (Link).

COLLABORATION ALERT: Proenza Schouler for Net-A-Porter

I have news of a cool collaboration! New York based brand Proenza Schouler has created its first ever capsule collection for Net-A-Porter.com. The collection consists of only 9 pieces that are EXCLUSIVE to Net-A-Porter. The designers behind the brand, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez said, "Net-A-Porter was one of the first stores to carry Proenza Schouler online so we wanted to do something special to celebrate their continued support over the years." All of the pieces are very easy to wear and typically laid back and cool. The best part? They are ALOT cheaper than regular items from the brand and SOOO worth it! Now which do I love most??
